Dramas...

-Some dramas I've recently finished watching are "Zhe Li Fa Xian Ai" or Wish to See You Again, "Lan Qiu Huo" or Hot Shot, and "Bu Liang Xiao Hua" or Miss no Good. Man... I'm seriously a crybaby. I wanted to say how surprised I was at crying for 3 dramas in a row. But looking back and reading my list of finished Taiwan dramas, I've actually shed tears for the last 4 dramas that I've watched.
-Skip the 5th most recent one because I actually didn't finish watching it. This one was the last one I watched in 2007.
-Continuing backwards on my list, the 6th recent, although I also didn't finish watching Bull Fighting, what I've seen was quite sad. Some of the later episodes, which I've seen in Taiwan in the summer, was totally tear jerking. For Bull Fighting, I can't remember what episode I stopped at, but I didn't get to watch the rest without missing anything in Taiwan and I'm too lazy to go download it. I actually can't remember the ending... Or maybe I didn't even watch the ending... hmm... Something to ponder upon. xP
-7th recent, Sweet Relationship, had its snooze moments, but I did end up tearing up in a scene or two.
-Okay, back to the more recent ones, the 1st one I watched in 2008 is Fated to Love You. I can't specifically remember the exact scene I cried in, but I can guaratee that I cried watching this drama. I watched around 3 episiodes of it in Canada on computer and continiued watching it in Taiwan in the summer. Its viewing percent was pretty high. I think they got up to 13% = 13% of people in Taiwan was watching this drama at the same time at some point when this drama was airing. That's pretty good. Only 2nd to a drama in Taiwanese dialect. The reason why so many people watch the drama in Taiwanese dialect is because most people in taiwan speak it even though people of Taipei don't really like it. Also, elders, generally, have the time around noon to afternoon to watch T.V. Not sure if I really make sense, but it's hard for me to explain it in writing. I think my english got worse what with speaking to Johnny in Mandarin everyday and all... *sigh*
-With a drama that I mentioned in the 1st paragraph, Wish to See You Again, I cried 11 times. And yes, I do keep track for the purpose of comparing dramas.
-I don't think I cried as much as 11 times watching Hot Shot, but I do remember full out sobbing while watching episode 12. To explain why, one has to understand that this drama is about basketball. There's a really evil guy who plays b-ball and fouls in a way that judges can't find proof. His fouls are lethal. He hits vital points and is unmerciful. Playing with him, players on the opposite team start to collapse and the judges can't do anything with no proof. He really wants to do what he does to a person called "Dong Fang Xiang". The main character, "Yuan Da Yi", for the girl he likes, puts himself in the way of the evil player's attacks while "Dong Fang Xiang" scores because the girl likes DongFangXiang. Because DaYi is a special type of human with super athletic cells, abilities, and body, he was able to keep receiving hits. But at one point, he collapsed. Throughout the whole episode I was basically sobbing my eyes out. Crazy.
-Miss no Good is a drama that I just started on, yesterday, and finished, today. Its not in its proper episode sequence. It was supposed to be only 14 episodes. But for some reason, the version that I downloaded had 21 episodes. When I refer to the episodes, it would be wrong for the way other people count it using the 14 episode way. Using my way, on the 20th episode, when the guy who liked the leading female tried to let go of his feelings saying that he likes her because he's still stuck in the past, in elementary when he was the fat kid, "Jia Fei". Fei=fat. "Jia" is his family name. His real name is "Jia Si Le". I swear to god, it was so sad. This whole drama basically made me cry a shitload of times. Whether or not it made me cry over 11 times, I don't. I didn't keep track for Hot Shot and Miss no Good. I totally should have. It was stupid of me not to because all 3 are tear jerkers. The way "Si Le" thinks, acts, and pursues his love all make me cry. I think I wouldn' t mind if he was the one with the leading female instead of the leading male. The whole "Goodbye, my past. Goodbye, old me. Goodbye, 'Xiao Hua'" scene was VERY dramatic. I was effing BAWLING! Like, holy SHIT bawling. And like I said, It's not just episode 12. "Si Le" was a character that really effected me. "Xiao Hua" is the leading female. At some point in the drama, I thought that the leading male, "Tang Men" couldn't even be compared to SiLe's feelings for XiaoHua ran so much deeper and longer than TangMen. *sigh* I think I would've liked XiaoHua to be with SiLe instead of TangMen. The girl that SiLe ended up with, in the end, totally pissed me off. I don't think it was a good match. It sort of felt like he ditched XiaoHua for "Jiang Mi" or because JiangMi was all over him and he couldn't get XiaoHua, he decided to give JiangMi a chance or something like that. In the end, I just don't like the pairing of SiLe and JiangMi. I would rather have SiLe like XiaoHua forever and silently look after even when she chooses TangMen than have that horrible pairing. *sigh*
-I skipped a lot of dramas in 2008 because I of work since February. Since I'm not working anymore, I'm trying really hard to catch up and go back to my habit of downloading dramas airing in Taiwan every week. There are two dramas that aired during the time of my pause that I decided not to pursue. One didn't look very interesting. The other didn't sound interesting. Oh wells.
-I should finish watching "Wu Di San Bao Mei" but I think because of a preview, I sort of lost interest in it. I'll probably finish it though since I have all the episodes downloaded in my computer. I think the reason it got a bit boring was because the plot was set to be dragged on for 17 episodes.
-I'm going to San Jose again on the 24th. It's Ricky's birthday. He invited me, but I can't go... *sigh*.
